Happy birthday, Ethan!

Ethan turned 9 a few days ago! For his birthday dinner, he requested tacos, and rather than cake, he chose fruit platter pie. The cousins and grandparents came to celebrate with us. He received a magic kit and a $25 gift card to Target.

We hosted a birthday party for friends (Ethan's first) in November to avoid holiday madness. It was a Harry Potter theme and involved wand-making, dueling, muggle Quidditch, potions, and hamburgers. Everyone had a fabulous time, and Mr. M did an amazing job of finding just the right dowels for wands and keeping things going smoothly.
